How to Return Lighting or Electrical Products

Returning an item to LeanLight is simple. Follow these steps to initiate your lighting return or electrical product return:

  2. Enter Order Details: Input your order number and email address to start.
  3. Select Items: Choose the items you wish to return and follow the instructions.
  4. Get Shipping Guidelines: After approval, youโ€™ll receive a confirmation email with return shipping instructions.

Eligible Items for Returns

Our return policy allows returns for lighting and electrical products under these conditions:

  • Within 30 days from the purchase date.
  • In unused, resellable condition.
  • In original packaging with all tags intact.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Shipping charges.
  • Gift cards.
  • Used items.

LeanLightโ€™s return shipping policy outlines who covers shipping costs for lighting returns and electrical product returns. We provide a prepaid label, but costs may be deducted from your refund if youโ€™re responsible.

LeanLight Pays (Free for You)

We cover return shipping for:

  • Missing parts or accessories: Lacking components like bulbs, wiring, or mounting hardware.
  • Wrong item sent: If we shipped the incorrect product.
  • Defective or non-functional: For faulty items (e.g., light fixture doesnโ€™t work).
  • Extra item received: If we sent an additional item in error.
  • Poor quality: If the itemโ€™s quality (e.g., brightness or build) doesnโ€™t meet expectations.
  • Incompatible with your system: If the product doesnโ€™t work with your electrical setup (e.g., wrong voltage).
  • Damaged on arrival: For items arriving broken (e.g., cracked fixtures or exposed wires).
  • Mismatched description: If the item doesnโ€™t match the website specs (e.g., wrong wattage or color temperature).
  • Incorrect material: If the material differs from the description (e.g., plastic instead of metal).

Customer Pays

You cover return shipping for:

  • Delayed delivery: If the item arrived too late.
  • Change of mind: Unspecified reasons or personal preference.
  • Ordered by mistake: Accidental purchases.
  • Found a better price: Returning due to a cheaper alternative elsewhere.
  • No reason provided: Lack of a specific return reason.

  • No longer needed: If you no longer want the item.
  • Too large: If the itemโ€™s size doesnโ€™t fit your space.
  • Too small: If the item is too small for your needs.

  • Manual language issue: If the manualโ€™s language (e.g., not in Italian or Spanish) is a concern.

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return, weโ€™ll email you about the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are processed within 5โ€“7 working days after approval.

Full Refund Eligibility

  • Full Refund: For unused items in resellable condition with original packaging and tags.
  • Partial Refund: Used items or those with damaged packaging may incur a restocking fee.
  • No Refund: Items in unsellable condition may be denied a refund.
