This single-pole switch accepts #12 or #14 stranded or solid copper wire, with push-in wiring accepting #14 solid only. A steel mounting strap with zinc plating provides corrosion resistance, while washer-type break-off plaster ears allow for flush alignment. Back and side wiring options and large head combination screws simplify installation, and the easy-access green hex head ground screw speeds up termination.
