Reflectors with LED Tubes

It is pretty common to see reflectors behind traditional fluorescent lighting, but did you know that they are useful with LED tubes?

Reflectors produce 30% more foot candles when used with fluorescent lamps. Reflectors produce 10% more foot candles when used with LED tubes.

You may even be able to achieve more than 10% depending on the beam angle and lensing. The refraction of light off of the lens can be caught by the reflector for additional light.
